Update 0.13.1 Has Been Released For All Devices

Yup, the developers have confirmed that Update 0.13.1 has been released for all stores.

It was mainly a bug fix update, but we have a lot of good news. But first, take a look at Tommaso Checchi’s tweets below:

Yay! We got a Christmas special skin pack!

Santa, his wife, elves and more skins!

We’ve been receiving complaints about how many people were still stuck in the beta testing. Don’t worry, Tommaso fixed that too. 🙂

Unfortunately, the developers decided not to tell what bugs they fixed, so you’ll have to Update and find out yourselves!

In addition, the developers were thinking of adding Maps in Update 0.13.1! Unfortunately, it had too many bugs, but they will be added in Update 0.14.0.

This was on Mojangs latest post.

Oh! One more thing – though the illustration at the top of this post includes a much-requested feature for Pocket Edition and the Windows 10 Edition Beta – maps – they aren’t ready to be patched in quite yet. Think of it as a teaser for the next update.

For those of you who don’t know, maps are a way for you too find your way across the world. The more you explore, the more your map says.

Basically, they are like a Minecraft GPS. They tell you where you are, and they can tell you where your house is etc.

So they’re going to be added in Update 0.14.0!

Now go to your appstore and update Minecraft PE!

Enjoy all the bug fixes!

Happy Minecraft Everyone and Happy Holidays!

-Edit- The menu screen has changed as well, this is what it looks like now:
